Plant Ash Petrified Wood
Product Descriptions
Plant Ash Petrified Wood is a distinctive variety of petrified wood (also known as silicified wood), celebrated for its unique grayish-white, ash-like coloration and fine texture.
Formation
It forms when ancient trees were rapidly buried by volcanic ash or sediments, typically during the Jurassic or Cretaceous periods. In an oxygen-poor, high-pressure underground environment, silica-rich groundwater gradually infiltrated and replaced the organic wood cells, preserving the original wood grain, growth rings, and structure while transforming it into stone.
