Baorun Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Liyang) of Delong Group is a core subsidiary under Liyang Ruida New Materials Group Co., Ltd., located in Liyang City, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The company was established on November 30, 2020, following the takeover of Jiangsu Shente Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. by Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., with the aim of extending the industrial chain and commencing premium steel production.
The company operates as a modern stainless steel manufacturer with integrated full-process production, global collaboration, and a complete industrial chain. It has constructed a comprehensive R&D and production base for 300-series high-end stainless steel, encompassing the entire chain from stainless steel billet smelting to hot-rolled stainless steel coils and cold-rolled stainless steel sheets. Equipped with advanced stainless steel smelting facilities and the largest domestic hot continuous rolling stainless steel production line, the facility boasts an annual production capacity of 6 million tons of high-end stainless steel. The plant occupies an area of 4,000 acres with a construction area of 1.1 million square meters, recognized as a key provincial construction project in Jiangsu.
The company focuses on technological innovation and high-value development in the high-end stainless steel sector. Its production processes are highly intelligentized, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. In July 2023, its "Solid Waste Resource Utilization Project at the Delong Nickel Industry Liyang Base" received environmental impact assessment approval from the Changzhou Liyang Ecological Environment Bureau.
