Shanghai Jiani Material Technology Co., Ltd. is a professional company specializing in the production of stone tiles.

Under the guidance of national energy-saving and emission-reduction policies, domestic tile manufacturers have gradually joined the low-carbon movement. Recently, Monalisa launched a new lightweight thin plate product in this city, featuring ultra-large tiles measuring 900 mm × 1800 mm with a mere thickness of only 3 mm. These tiles are larger in area, lighter in weight, require less energy to fire, and can produce the same area and quality of ceramic decorative material using just half or even one-third the amount of raw clay. Meanwhile, the implementation of the national standard for "Ceramic Panels" and the "Technical Code for Application of Thin Ceramic Tiles in Construction" further confirms that the trend toward thinning in China’s building ceramics has been firmly established. Currently, most 800×800 mm floor tiles on the market are 12 mm thick. The newly developed tiles, which are more than half as thin and over twice the area, not only mark the first appearance in China but also represent cutting-edge progress internationally in the construction ceramics sector. Due to their large size and excellent jointing performance, many large-scale digital printing techniques have been applied to these new thin plates. However, due to their large surface area, professional installation guidance is required during laying. Industry experts believe that for thin ceramic plates to achieve large-scale production, they must enter the home decoration market—offering both large and small sizes will provide greater prospects.
