Stone texture processing method

Natural stone is increasingly widely applied in home renovation, favored by numerous homeowners for its grand and luxurious texture. Are you familiar with the processing principles for stone surface textures? Below are the common texture finishing methods for stone:
Matte Finish
Flat surface with subtle luster.
Polished Finish
Glossy, smooth and low-porosity surface formed with polishing blocks and polishing powder during production. After polishing, natural light reflects through mineral crystals, revealing the inherent mineral grains of natural stone.
Flamed Finish
Heat the stone at high temperature until its internal crystals crack, creating a rough textured surface. Due to its porous structure, penetrating sealant may be required for protection.
Antique Finish
Two fabrication approaches: tumbling stones in a rotary barrel, or chemical acid etching. Both create a slightly rough, vintage appearance. Color enhancer can be applied to deepen hues if desired.
Sandblasted Finish
High-pressure jet of water mixed with abrasive sand blasts the stone surface, producing an uneven yet subtly lustrous texture.
Sawn Cut Finish
Raw surface directly formed by mechanical saw cutting.
Bush-Hammered Finish
Textured surface formed by repeated hammering, available in multiple roughness grades. Classic variants include lychee finish, longan finish and pineapple finish.
