Seamless stone treatment
2026-08-07
Shanghai Jiani Material Technology is a professional company specializing in the production of stone tiles.
The so‑called joint‑free grinding treatment refers to filling the gaps between installed stone slabs with special gap‑filling agent of similar color to the stone, followed by grinding and polishing with professional equipment and techniques. After such treatment, the stone surface delivers a large‑area, integral aesthetic effect without visible segmented joints.
Stone bonding and repairing is a non‑structural bonding process. It adopts marble glue, an organic chemical adhesive, to repair, fill, reinforce and fix stone defects such as cracks, fissures, holes, pinholes and product imperfections, as well as for decoration positioning purposes.

Construction Principle & Process
1. Remove original fillers in stone joints: Re‑cut existing joints with electric tools to minimize joint width deviation (low‑dust operation), or clean joints with professional cutters.
2. Color‑match special marble glue: Apply marble glue with color close to the stone to enhance overall consistency and achieve optimal visual performance.
3. Perform filling and keep marble glue slightly above the stone surface: Marble glue will shrink moderately after full curing. This operation prevents sunken joints after repair.
4. Carry out grinding and polishing to level the filler flush with the stone surface: It improves monolithic integrity, eliminates height difference at joints, and thoroughly prevents re‑occurrence of blackened joints.
Common materials for joint‑free treatment include unsaturated resin, epoxy resin and marble glue.
During long‑term service, insufficient maintenance allows external contaminants to pollute stone joints and cause black intermediate joints, which greatly impairs the functional and decorative performance of stone. Stone joint‑free treatment effectively solves this problem.
