Understand the necessity of stone renovation in stone maintenance.

Stone protection, cleaning, levelling, grinding and polishing are gradually gaining recognition at the present stage.
Corresponding industry standards cover the whole workflow, from selecting professional services and standardized on‑site construction, through completion acceptance and hand‑over for use, to precautions for subsequent operation and maintenance cycles. For newly‑laid stone materials that remain undeformed, even highly‑skilled installers cannot achieve the flatness obtained by overall grinding treatment.
Stone suffers damages including surface abrasion, chipped edges, broken corners and contamination during cutting at large‑panel factories, transportation and on‑site assembly.
For newly‑installed stonework, installers conventionally fill stone joints with joint grout, which is prone to water infiltration, discoloration and poor bonding strength.
Prior to levelling, joint treatment shall be carried out: joint cleaning and straightening, colour‑matched joint sealant filling, repair of chipped edges and broken corners, as well as patching of surface pits on stone slabs for stone renovation purposes.
After levelling, the stone shall undergo grinding, further repairing, polishing, cleaning, protection, crystallization and maintenance treatments. Upon completion of the full process, the gloss of granite and marble can meet the factory standards for national high‑grade products.
Treatments including grinding, levelling, polishing, protection and crystallization can further improve stone performance in terms of glossiness, surface hardness, overall visual consistency, stain resistance and aesthetic effect, fully restoring the inherent magnificence and high‑grade texture of natural stone.
